What is Reiki?
The word Reiki comes from the japanese words Rei- meaning universal and Ki- meaning energy, so reiki means universal energy or universal life force. Reiki practitioners have been attuned to access this energy and pass it to others.
During a reiki treatment session the recipient lies comfortably on the massage table or sits in a chair and the certified reiki practitioner places their hands on various points of the recipients body passing on this soothing energy.
Imagine your body as a battery all day long universal energy is being passed through this body by way of energy channels called nadis, when we become ill or the energy channels become blocked do to emotional or mental trauma the energy doesn't flow freely and the energy becomes depleted. Getting a reiki treatment is like recharging your battery so the body can do what is necessary to heal itself.
Crystal Reiki uses crystal grids set up to amplify a specific intention, as well as crystals applied to and around the recipients body, reiki energy is then channeled through the crystals and/or the crystal grid amplifying the energy and combining it with the specific properties of the chosen crystals
